The concept for my
online store came about in a few ways. First of all, many years ago, I
understood that our world has limited resources. I made it a point to
learn how to make the best possible use of what we have. Secondly, I
was thrilled to hear of the growing consciousness among all generations
about making our planet healthier. More and more people are passionate
about environmental issues and the act of shopping has become a way to
take personal responsibility for our contribution to change the world.
Lastly, through my constant research, which included reading eco themed
books, newspapers, magazines, blogs, and going to specific Green trade
shows, I began to find many great products, which my friends didn’t
know existed and longed for, such as bio-degradable trash bags, water
saving devices, LED Christmas lights, and a particularly cool Solar
powered flashlight, to name a few.
My vision for my store was therefore born and grew and is growing. My
goal is to provide the best selection of Eco-friendly
products on the market, which are practical, well designed, affordable, improve your well being and I will look to support fair-trade companies as well. As I learn to turn my home into a chemical free, non toxic, energy saving, water
saving and healthier place to live, I will share whatever I feel is
helpful or valuable advice to anyone who wants to make changes, but
doesn’t always know how. I want to inspire my customers by the kinds of
products I sell and the information they can find through my Links and
Blog.
I care about everyone’s health and well being, and our planet’s (we are
one world family after all), which in turn drives me with a passion to
provide only the best, most worthwhile products and information I can
find. Also, I will not sell anything I wouldn’t use myself or haven’t
tested out beforehand. And that’s a promise. I hope I can inspire
people to feel pride in knowing that what they buy can contribute
towards making our world a better place for our children. |
