Also, there are 2 extra bibs to snap on when the first one is too wet or dirty. The idea is you put the bib on your child, with one extra bib snapped on, and then you have a spare. So, it's really 3 bibs in one. Genius!

All fabrics are pre-washed and pre-shrunk. Nevertheless, this does not guarantee there will be no further shrinkage. In order to reduce further shrinkage, all items should be washed in cold water and dried on low temperatures. This will extend the life of the items and save energy resources.

Did you know... that conventionally farmed cotton uses large amounts of pesticides and is then subjected to numerous chemical treatments as the cotton is prepared for fabric production and use. Conventional cotton products are also generally dyed using chemicals and processes involving heavy metals. Thus, conventional practices not only put a tremendous strain on our environment, but they potentially expose us to harmful chemicals. Farmers raising organic cotton rely on sustainable agricultural practices that use fewer resources, resulting in an overall smaller carbon footprint, and emitting fewer greenhouse gases.

*Why low-impact dying?
Low-impact dying is currently the best choice for the environment and the consumer. It uses fewer resources than other processes and the dyes do not contain heavy metals or other toxic substances. The result is an environmentally friendly process, that produces intense and stable colors.

Natural dyes may sound better, but in fact, tend to be less stable, fade easily, and often use toxic mordants to fix the dye to the fabric. Thus, not only are natural dyes not able to offer the range of aesthetic appeal, but on the whole, they pose more potential harm to the environment and the wearer than the dyes used in low-impact dyeing.
