  Incense Burner

Glass and Tin
Made in Argentina
Fair Trade

A family cooperative in Buenos Aires, Argentina, make these gorgeous Incense Burners from Seltzer Bottles from the 1930s and 40s. The original bottle was made from pressurized glass, then covered in tin, to protect it. They found a way to reuse those bottles and turn them into a wonderful product. They look like little Tagines. I use mine all the time, with an incense cone lit inside, and the smoke snaking out of the top, keeps the mosquitoes or other bugs away. Open a window nearby, to keep the air circulating.
