I designed this Computer Tray because I searched for one like it for my children and couldn't find one anywhere. I made several prototypes, until I got it just right. This one is sized for a child to young teen. It fits nicely on top of a bed, is stable, because the sides are not foldable. I tested the Computer Tray out several times just to make sure I liked the way a laptop fit on it and how comfortable it is. I added side pockets on either side, to put school work or books in and a spot to put a glass of water or a handful of pens. It turned out so great and I think it's fantastic!
Why do I love this Computer Tray so much? To begin with, it's all wood, so very solid and non toxic. I also painted it with non toxic paint and left the tray part a solid color, so it can be decorated with stickers, so it can be personalized.
It's the perfect Computer Tray to put on your bed, which is exactly where most kids like to be when they are on the computer or watching a movie. Because of kids love of their beds, I grew concerned when I kept on noticing how very hot the underside of computers get. My instinct was telling me that this can't be healthy for growing bodies to be exposed to that type excessive heat.
SPECIAL NOTE** this computer tray does not fold so please make sure you have enough room to store it away when not in use.
Did you know... that you can get a skin condition called Erythema ab igne or EAI? A hyper pigmentation of the skin can occur, which may or may not fade over time.
