I was up in Maine a few summers ago, and found a pile of vintage chicken feed bags at this old antique store in one of my favorite towns called Hallowell. I brought them home, turned each bag inside out and washed out any residue feed. I love the print on the bags but couldn't think of something I could make with them... until now.

I am offering up a limited quantity for the moment.

I keep mine in my car, always ready for when I need to stop off at the market. These Produce Bags are perfect to put your fruit, vegetables, rice, nuts, etc. in. It makes me feel so good not use those little plastic produce bags the supermarkets and farmer's markets offer because I am creating less waste by using and reusing these Produce Bags.

Each bag comes wrapped in brown paper and string.
