These gorgeous African fabric Luggage Tags, are made in Rwanda by a women's sewing collective. Each one of these Luggage Tags are practical as well as durable, and are a wonderful way to show the beauty of traditional African fabrics through their colors and designs. I chose 4 of my favorites and I hope to empower these women by ordering many more from them over the years.

The story of this women's cooperative, called Ineza WE-ACTx is one of strength, courage and community. Rather than focus on the horrors of the Rwandan genocide and its aftermath, these amazing women are speaking to the power of their communities and working towards a better future for themselves, their family and their nation.

Did you know…that the Rwandan Parc des Volcans is home to mountain gorillas, made famous by "Gorillas in the Mist."
